EM and Antenna Engineer

About the role

Design and optimize the electromagnetic foundation for next‑generation autonomous aerospace systems. You will develop RF and mmWave technologies that enable reliable communications, navigation, sensing, and radar performance across Destinus UAV platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electromagnetic simulations of RF and mmWave designs using Ansys HFSS and related tools.
• Analyze complex structures, present results, and provide technical recommendations.
• Conduct Radar Cross Section simulations for threat assessment and signature reduction.
• Design and optimize radomes balancing electromagnetic performance with structural requirements.
• Lead antenna system integration across UAV platforms, ensuring reliable subsystem performance.
• Optimize coexistence of multiple antennas by evaluating placement, coupling, and interactions.
• Support antenna validation through laboratory, field, and anechoic chamber measurements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with electromagnetic simulation using Ansys HFSS.
• Programming experience in Python or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Ansys HFSS (including HFSS 3D Layout, PyAEDT).
• Microwave Office AWR (advantage).
• Python, MATLAB.

• Antenna element and array design, including conformal antennas.
• Antenna measurement techniques in field and anechoic chambers.
