Engineering Manager – iOS & macOS VPN Products

About the role

Proton is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the iOS and macOS team for Proton VPN. You will guide a group of engineers in delivering high‑quality, reliable Apple‑platform VPN applications while driving continuous innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and maintain a high engineering bar for iOS and macOS VPN products by diagnosing quality issues and implementing clear processes.
• Ensure delivery of robust, reliable features that extend Proton VPN with new and critical functionality.
• Enhance team efficiency by balancing speed, quality, and developer experience through streamlined processes and structured ways of working.
• Collaborate closely with Product and other cross‑functional teams to address quality concerns and align on priorities.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers dedicated to continuous innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams focused on iOS and/or macOS applications.
• Strong focus on product quality, reliability, and performance.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders.
