Engineering Planner

About the role

Proclinical is looking for an Engineering Planner to join a Swiss team focused on GMP‑compliant engineering excellence. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to keep facilities, utilities and equipment safe and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Escalate overdue tasks and coordinate with production schedulers to ensure equipment availability.
• Lead weekly maintenance planning meetings and allocate resources, including external contractors.
• Procure and assign materials, spares and consumables required for maintenance.
• Generate and distribute KPI reports on maintenance planning and delivery.
• Continuously review and improve planning processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Educational background in engineering or a technical discipline (HND/HNC or equivalent).
• Practical experience in maintenance activities, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP‑regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineering maintenance processes and scheduling.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Effective communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Switzerland.
