English-speaking Childcare Assistant (Permanent)

About the role

We are looking for an English‑speaking Supply Childcare Assistant to join our crèche in Mont‑sur‑Lausanne on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the educational team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s emotional security, autonomy and curiosity.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome children and families with respect and warmth.
• Ensure the psychological, emotional and physical safety of every child.
• Report any safety or welfare concerns promptly.
• Collaborate actively with site management and the educational team.
• Share observations and contribute to the team’s pedagogical planning.
• Help maintain a pleasant work environment that respects the group’s values and individual diversity.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 20 years.
• At least six months of certified experience in childcare or early‑childhood education.
• Fluent in English; bilingual English/French is a plus.
• Awareness of well‑being, sustainability and cultural diversity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative work with children, families and teams.
