EURO Event Communications & Digital Coordinator

About the role

The EURO Event Communications & Digital Coordinator will help design and maintain the EURO 2028 mobile app, working closely with UEFA ICT, technical suppliers and operational stakeholders. The role also supports the Event Communications team with content management, copywriting and on‑site communications for the tournament.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for UEFA ICT, UX/UI designers and developers to deliver the EURO 2028 app.
• Assess product requirements based on fan needs and align them with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Monitor the app roadmap, ensuring budgets, timelines and milestones are met.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to guarantee solutions meet on‑ground needs.
• Participate in desk and on‑site testing at other UEFA events to ensure flawless functionality.
• Prepare and lead workshops, supplier meetings and presentations, with thorough follow‑ups.
• Manage day‑to‑day content across UEFA mobile apps and UEFA.com, publishing through the CMS and keeping channels up to date.
• Gather content from internal and external partners, including host cities and venues, for fan‑facing communications.
• Write engaging copy in line with UEFA style guides and tone of voice.
• Support dynamic on‑site communications during competitions and matches.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience with digital products, preferably focusing on user experience for apps or web.
• 1‑3 years experience in digital content management and project management.
• Fluent in English; additional European language is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Switzerland or France.
• Strong understanding of mobile apps, websites, industry standards and digital innovation.
• Passion for football or other sports and good knowledge of fan culture.
• Experience in major event operations, ideally within sports or entertainment.
• Creative, proactive problem‑solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to multitask and thrive in an international environment.
