About the role

This senior commercial‑digital leadership position sits at the heart of the EUCAN business, driving growth and commercial impact through digital, data and AI strategies. The Executive Director partners with commercial and marketing leaders to translate insights into scalable solutions that improve execution across Europe and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary digital, data and AI partner for EUCAN commercial and marketing teams, shaping strategy with insight‑driven recommendations.
• Synthesize complex analytics into concrete actions that influence brand strategy, portfolio prioritisation and product lifecycle execution.
• Lead the insight‑to‑decision‑to‑implementation agenda, ensuring analytics directly inform the selection and deployment of commercial‑engagement (CE) and digital solutions.
• Champion AI adoption, moving initiatives from pilot to enterprise‑wide scale to enhance decision quality and marketing efficiency.
• Orchestrate demand from business questions through solution selection, implementation and value realisation, standardising processes across markets.
• Develop senior leaders within EUCAN Insights and Engagement, setting expectations for decision ownership and execution discipline.
• Shape a future‑ready operating model that leverages shared services, AI‑enabled delivery and standardised digital capabilities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in digital, data, AI or commercial transformation within the health or life‑science sector.
• Strong track record partnering with commercial and marketing functions to drive insight‑led actions.
• Ability to challenge the status quo, simplify complex processes and balance regional consistency with local flexibility.
• Experience leading senior teams, building operating models and scaling digital solutions across multiple markets.
