Executive Director / Vice President, Global Privacy

About the role

Revolution Medicines seeks an Executive Director or Vice President to lead its Global Privacy function. This senior leader will shape and execute a worldwide privacy strategy that aligns with the company’s mission to develop targeted oncology therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a global privacy governance and compliance framework.
• Ensure all personal data activities comply with international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Serve as a key advisor to the General Counsel and senior executives on data protection and responsible data use.
• Promote a privacy‑by‑design culture across all business units worldwide.
• Report to the Vice President, Compliance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Law degree (J.D. required for U.S. candidates; law degree strongly preferred for EU candidates).
• 15+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead global privacy initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
• Willingness to work remotely with regular travel to Redwood City, CA, or to be based in the UK, Germany, or Switzerland.
