Factory Controller – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail‑oriented Factory Controller to join our Finance team in Allschwil, Switzerland. This newly created position will drive improvements, identify optimisation opportunities and support smarter work processes across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Analyzing financial performance and delivering actionable insights to management.
• Preparing, analysing and following up on Cost‑Benefit Analyses to support supply‑chain optimisation.
• Contributing to monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.
• Applying factory financial tools such as standard cost and cost roll to drive costing updates.
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
• Maintaining compliance and internal control within the area of responsibility.
• Managing fixed assets, including the asset register, approvals, month‑end closing and forecasting.
• Exploring and implementing digital tools (ERP, D365, Power BI, databases) to streamline reporting.
• Ensuring credit management according to group regulations and driving process improvements.

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a finance position within an international environment.
• Relevant education in Accounting and Finance.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a strong plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
• Self‑driven, well‑organized and capable of independent work.
• Strong collaboration skills across functions and effective communication at all levels.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in digital reporting tools such as SQL, APEX and Power BI.
• Knowledge of standard costing and cost‑roll processes in a manufacturing environment.
