Factory Planning & Fulfillment Manager

About the role

Join us as a Planning & Fulfillment Manager and become a key driver of operational success. In this highly visible leadership role you will oversee end‑to‑end planning and fulfillment, translating customer demand into efficient, profitable execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead factory planning processes from long‑term demand planning through detailed scheduling and material planning.
• Lead the local SE&OP process, aligning with product line planning and assessing capacity to meet demand.
• Translate forecasts and orders into feasible supply, production, and delivery plans while monitoring forecast accuracy and backlog.
• Manage short‑, medium‑, and long‑term production priorities to optimize capacity utilization and ensure reliable delivery.
• Establish and improve performance indicators such as on‑time delivery, schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
• Drive deployment and optimization of ERP (SAP S/4HANA), advanced planning tools, analytics, and digital supply‑chain solutions.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing planning and fulfillment team.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field; MBA or supply‑chain specialization preferred.
• 8‑10 years progressive experience in supply‑chain, planning, or operations management.
• Minimum 5 years people‑leadership experience in Sales Engineering & Operations Planning, preferably in an ETO environment.
• Fluent Italian and English, with strong communication skills.
• Experience in transformers or electrical equipment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with advanced planning tools such as Drummer or Cyberplan.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
