Feed Technology Instructor

About the role

Join the Swiss Institute of Feed Technology (SFT) to share your expertise in feed technology through hands‑on training for a global audience. You will design and deliver both theoretical and practical courses, continuously improve training materials, and support customers and internal staff on‑site and at our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training across all areas of feed technology to customers and internal employees.
• Develop and tailor training materials, teaching resources, and educational formats to participant needs.
• Conduct raw‑material trials and training sessions in the application centre, analyse product quality and suggest process improvements.
• Support international participants throughout their training journey, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
• Assist customers with mill assessments, technological challenges and on‑site training, contributing to SFT’s technical and organisational development.

Required profile

• Vocational training as a Miller in Animal Feed Production or food industry, with several years of feed‑mill experience.
• Strong knowledge of feed‑milling processes (grinding, mixing, pelleting/compacting, cooling) and related machinery.
• Pedagogical training or experience as a trainer/lecturer is an advantage.
• Excellent German and English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 20% of the time.
