Field Technician – Mobile Device Testing

About the role
We are looking for a Field Technician to join our telecom testing team. You will be responsible for performing on‑site testing of smartphones and wearables, ensuring compliance with 3GPP standards for 3G, 4G and 5G networks.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct field tests on Android and Apple devices, including smartphones, smart watches and Macs.
- Investigate and document issues, generate daily test reports for the client.
- Analyze logs and debug user‑equipment (UE) problems using specialized tools.
- Support carrier certification activities for major US operators such as Verizon, AT&T and T‑Mobile.
Required profile
- 3‑4 years of hands‑on experience in mobile device field testing.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications for 3G/4G/5G technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Android and iOS devices, including iPhone, Apple Watch and Mac.
- Experience using logging and analysis tools such as QxDM, QCAT, Wireshark, STT and ELT.
- Ability to perform log analysis and UE debugging.
