Finance Manager

About the role

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join its Geneva headquarters. The role will serve as a trusted business partner, providing financial expertise to support strategic initiatives and drive performance across the shipping division.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to operational and commercial teams, contributing financial insight to strategic planning.
• Perform transversal financial analysis across multiple business areas, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare, review and present financial reports to management, ensuring accuracy of key metrics.
• Support forecasting and variance analysis, aligning financial objectives with business goals.
• Monitor financial results, working capital and cost‑management initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance manager role, ideally within shipping, logistics or maritime.
• Proven capability in business partnering and cross‑functional financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
