Financial Controller

About the role

Linxon is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Central Europe Finance team in Baden, Switzerland. The role partners with operations, the Finance Business Controller, and Managing Directors to ensure accurate financial reporting and strategic support across Swiss and German legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS/Swiss GAAP for Swiss and German entities.
• Coordinate year‑end audits and act as the main contact for external auditors.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial results, budgets, forecasts and ad‑hoc reports.
• Manage corporate tax provisions, VAT returns, transfer pricing documentation and tax balances.
• Oversee daily cash management, guarantees, bonds and hedging strategies.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, billing, AR/AP, expense claims and payroll processes.
• Support relocation, facility management and real‑estate strategy for office space.
• Participate in tender preparation, risk assessment and mitigation planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of accounting experience, preferably in a project‑oriented engineering and construction environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.
• High level of autonomy, rigor, ethics and adaptability.
