Financial Reporting and Controlling Senior Specialist

About the role

Organon is seeking a Senior Specialist in Financial Reporting & Controlling for its Lucerne location. The role is highly visible, supporting statutory reporting, strategic decisions and transformation projects across multiple international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver statutory financial statements under Swiss GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS.
• Lead external audit activities and coordinate audit execution.
• Support monthly close, legal entity integration and new business initiatives.
• Drive process improvement to enhance reporting quality, efficiency and transparency.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, and business leaders on strategic projects and transformations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience in a multinational environment.
• Prior experience at a top‑tier audit or consulting firm (e.g., PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) is a strong plus.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong technical expertise in Swiss GAAP, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS.
• Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool capabilities.
