Floor Supervisor - Housekeeping

About the role

Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, a 181-room luxury hotel on the banks of the Rhone, is looking for a Floor Supervisor to join its Housekeeping Team. The position reports directly to the Head Housekeeper and covers the evening shift.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness standards
• Distribute and control keys and handle lost property
• Respond promptly to customer requests
• Ensure corridors and offices are tidy so they do not block emergency exits, and report suspicious behaviour or unusual objects
• Train new subordinates and support the ongoing training of others
• Organise the work of subordinates, welcome and serve guests according to 5-star hospitality principles, and handle complaints following the LQE procedure
• Ensure smooth shift transitions

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping
• Team spirit, curiosity and a desire to learn and grow
• Good communication skills and a flexible attitude
• Valid Swiss work permit or European passport
