Flying Implementer - DEI

About the role

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Flying Implementer will operationalise MSF OCG’s DEI commitments across missions and projects. Working in the field with regular visits to the Geneva headquarters, you will embed DEI principles into recruitment, talent development and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of the Breaking Barriers Gender Campaign to increase women’s representation and improve working conditions.
• Coach and support DEI focal points in missions, providing guidance on DEI integration.
• Partner with project leaders to identify DEI gaps and develop actionable plans.
• Build internal and external networks to strengthen MSF’s DEI ambitions.
• Advise leadership on talent attraction, recruitment, career growth and retention strategies from a DEI perspective.

Required profile

• Passionate about humanitarian work and committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and able to work autonomously in field settings.
• Experience in DEI advocacy, program implementation or related fields.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to influence diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel regularly to mission sites and the Geneva office.
