Forward Deployed Engineer – German Speaking

About the role

HappyRobot is seeking a German‑speaking Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, ensuring they derive maximum value from the AI platform. The role blends technical delivery with customer interaction, covering onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with customers from onboarding through ongoing usage, integrating and optimizing AI solutions.
• Build new features, MVPs, and scalable full‑stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Design and iterate AI/ML solutions, including LLM prompting, voice tuning, and transcription services.
• Manage APIs and third‑party integrations to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack development experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, especially LLM prompting and tuning.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Founder mindset: highly independent, ownership‑driven, and comfortable with fast‑paced environments.
