Full Stack Engineer, AI Systems

About the role

ActAI is building proactive AI‑driven applications that turn everyday tasks into reliable, goal‑oriented workflows. As a Full Stack Engineer you will create the product layer that transforms AI capabilities into production‑grade features, handling planning, tool use, failure recovery and real‑time interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end product features across frontend, backend and AI integrations.
• Build and maintain agent workflows that manage multi‑step planning, tool usage, failure handling and recovery.
• Integrate LLMs, memory stores and external tools to ensure reliable behavior under real‑world conditions.
• Optimize real‑time AI interactions for low latency and streaming partial results.
• Improve system reliability, observability and fallback mechanisms in collaboration with ML, backend and product teams.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack engineering experience (frontend + backend) with solid system design and API architecture knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, RAG systems or AI‑powered applications.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑moving environments, handle ambiguity and take ownership from idea to production.
