Full-Stack Engineer (Web3-DeFi)

About the role

A partner company, acting on behalf of a Swiss startup, is looking for a full-stack engineer based in Switzerland. The role is fully remote and suits someone passionate about blockchain and decentralized finance. You will own core product features from day one, working closely with the founding team, and combine frontend and backend development to build consumer-grade DeFi experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development and deliver product features from conception through implementation.
• Architect and build integrations with DeFi protocols, DEX aggregators, cross-chain bridges and data providers.
• Develop polished, responsive and performant user interfaces with Next.js, React and TailwindCSS.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis and WebSockets.
• Identify technical challenges, propose solutions and drive execution independently.
• Collaborate with the founding team on technical direction, architecture and product strategy, and contribute to quality, security and performance.

Required profile

• 3-5+ years of hands-on crypto or Web3 experience (DEXs, wallets, aggregators or DeFi protocols), or exceptional technical aptitude with strong proof of capability.
• Proven experience integrating crypto APIs, DeFi protocols and third-party aggregators.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a remote setting.
• Startup mindset: self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, quick to deliver results.

• Crypto API integration
• Nice to have: account abstraction (ERC-7702 smart wallets) and deep knowledge of DEX, AMM, cross-chain bridges and liquidity management
