Fund Accountant – Zug, Switzerland – £120k + Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join our team in Zug, Switzerland. The role involves managing daily NAV calculations, preparing financial statements and supporting compliance with FINMA regulations. You will work closely with portfolio managers and auditors to ensure accurate fund administration.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and reconciliations.
• Prepare annual financial statements, management accounts and customised investor reports.
• Handle capital calls, distribution calculations and management/performance fee calculations, including waterfall models.
• Ensure compliance with local FINMA regulations and support internal and external audit processes.
• Reconcile cash, portfolio valuations and trades across traditional securities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; CPA, ACCA or CFA highly desired.
• 2‑5+ years of fund accounting or audit experience.
• Fluent English; strong working knowledge of German is a major advantage.
• Interest or experience in private markets, hedge funds or digital assets.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems such as eFront, Investran or Paxus.
