About the role
We are seeking a Global Category Manager for MRO & Technical Services to lead the long‑term strategy for maintenance, repair, overhaul and spare parts across our worldwide manufacturing footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute international sourcing strategies for MRO, spare parts and services to achieve cost savings and improve working capital.
- Lead RFQs, contract negotiations and framework agreements with OEMs, distributors and service providers.
- Drive digital inventory optimisation, data management and analytics, ensuring SAP master data accuracy.
- Partner with global engineering, maintenance and reliability teams to align supplier performance with capital projects.
Required profile
- Proven experience in global strategic sourcing or category management focused on MRO, industrial spare parts or heavy‑machinery maintenance.
- Strong expertise in working‑capital optimisation, inventory analytics and supplier negotiations.
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross‑functional technical and operational networks.
- Fluent English and a valid right to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA passport or Swiss permit).
