Global Internal Auditor – Full Time

About the role

As a Global Internal Auditor you will support Franke’s worldwide operating units by delivering financial and operational audit services. Based at the head office in Aarburg, you will work closely with senior management and the Audit Committee to improve risk management, internal controls and governance across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage internal audits, including data analysis and fieldwork at global sites or the head office.
• Communicate audit findings, root causes, risks and improvement opportunities through concise reports and presentations.
• Assess internal control systems, evaluate risk exposure and advise business units on remediation actions.
• Coach and supervise less‑experienced auditors and guest auditors during audit engagements.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to verify that corrective actions have been implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with local senior management and central group functions on business‑process improvements.

Required profile

• Academic background relevant to manufacturing or trading industries.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in external or internal audit.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 % of the time, including occasional weekends.
• Fluent English and proficiency in another language (German, Italian or Spanish preferred).
• Strong analytical ability and a balanced view on risk, cost and business impact.
