Global Sales & Operations Planning & Long-Term Forecast Lead

About the role

As the Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Long-Term Forecast Plan (LTFP) Lead, you will drive the evolution of these core processes within Biogen's Global Supply Chain. You will work on the Global Supply Chain Planning Operations team to raise S&OP maturity, embed enterprise‑wide Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and ensure alignment across functions and hierarchies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve global S&OP governance, cadence, standards, and playbook for Planning, Operations & Technology (PO&T).
• Facilitate regional Executive S&OP forums in partnership with Business Operations, Finance, Demand Planning and GSC leadership.
• Align key performance indicators and expectations across S&OP forums to ensure consistent review content.
• Lead the annual Long‑Term Forecast Plan (LTFP) cycle, defining assumptions, scenarios and capacity planning inputs.
• Integrate S&OP and LTFP outputs into operational, financial and capacity planning processes.
• Champion cultural and behavioral change to support S&OP, IBP and LTFP in line with Vision 2030.
• Mentor S&OP leaders and ensure technology roadmaps support planning objectives.
