Global SCM Training Leader – Business Unit Transformers

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global SCM Training Leader for the Business Unit Transformers. You will shape the strategic direction, design and roll‑out of supply chain management training programs worldwide, supporting transformation and continuous improvement across regions and functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global SCM training strategy aligned with BU priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Design, develop and deploy scalable training programs for global, regional and factory teams.
• Establish KPIs to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with SCM leaders, SMEs and stakeholders to identify capability gaps and ensure technical accuracy of content.
• Support adoption of standardized SCM processes, tools and best practices through structured learning solutions.
• Promote innovative, digital and AI‑enabled learning approaches to enhance engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, training, L&D or functional leadership.
• Proven track record designing and governing global training programs in complex matrix organisations.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end SCM processes (sourcing, planning, logistics, supplier management, sustainability).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global and regional teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring training impact.
• Ability to work in an international environment and manage multiple projects in parallel.
