Government Policy Consultant – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Government Policy Consultant to work remotely on high‑impact regulatory and policy projects. In this contract role you will leverage your expertise to analyse, draft and review policy documents, legal contracts and research papers, helping clients navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, draft and review policy documents, legal contracts, proposals and research papers using advanced Word and PDF functionalities.
• Provide strategic consultation and actionable recommendations on regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic or finance matters.
• Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance, clarity and adherence to industry best practices.
• Support clients with precise document formatting, tracked changes, form filling and data extraction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to synthesize complex data into concise policies and procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with evolving regulations and guidelines relevant to your area of expertise.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in government policy operations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (tracked changes, formatting, document review).
• Advanced proficiency with PDF tools (editing, data extraction).
