Guest Experience Specialist & Hotel Receptionist

About the role

As a Guest Experience Specialist & Hotel Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for guests at the Rive Reine Nestlé Learning Center and its Residence. You will ensure a warm, personalized welcome and smooth administrative processes, contributing to a home‑like atmosphere for visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, provide personalized assistance and handle check‑in/check‑out procedures.
• Offer recommendations, book local attractions, arrange group activities and manage restaurant reservations.
• Address guest complaints promptly and maintain detailed records of preferences and feedback.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail, packages and messages for the Residence.
• Process invoicing, payments and administrative correspondence via email.
• Support safety operations, including fire alarm system and access control.
• Work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure continuous service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality or a similar receptionist role.
• Extensive knowledge of the local area, attractions and events.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Professional appearance, punctuality and a positive, open‑minded attitude.
• Fluent in French and English; German or Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with the Protel property‑management system (asset).
