Head, Data, Analytics and Learning (GL F) – Fixed Term until Dec 2029

About the role

The Global Fund is recruiting a Head, Data, Analytics and Learning (GL F) based in Geneva, reporting to the Head, Strategy, Investment and Evidence. This senior management role leads a multidisciplinary team covering quantitative modelling, measurement, data management and analytics, reporting, evaluation and evidence. It sets the strategic direction for how the Fund defines, generates, analyzes and uses evidence across the investment lifecycle, linking resource allocation and impact modelling with how investments are measured and reported.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and lead the Fund's approach to evidence, analytics and learning, improving the quality, timeliness and accessibility of evidence
• Lead the analytical and modelling capabilities behind resource allocation, including scenario analysis and the Investment Case for replenishment cycles, using epidemiological, financial and programmatic evidence and AI
• Set the strategic direction of the measurement architecture, overseeing the Modular Framework and simplifying reporting burdens
• Lead the collection, management and analysis of programmatic and grant data, building advanced analytics including data visualization and AI
• Lead strategic performance reporting, including the Results Report and Investment Case
• Provide strategic oversight of the Evaluation and Learning function as it moves from a standalone function to an embedded organizational capability
• Build organizational capability and technical depth across the department, fostering a culture of technical excellence and constructive challenge
