About the role

We are seeking a senior, hands‑on data professional to lead the deployment of a new Microsoft Fabric platform for a leading private equity and real estate investment group. Based in Zug, you will report to the Group CFO and initially manage an external partner through a multi‑month lakehouse implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Microsoft Fabric deployment, ensuring scope, quality and timelines are met.
• Build automated data pipelines from systems such as AFAS, DealCloud, iLEVEL, Yardi and SharePoint, and migrate legacy MS Access databases.
• Standardise core financial data definitions (NAV, EBITDA, LTV) and establish a governed data catalogue with automated reconciliation.
• Scale Power BI reporting and deliver practical AI/LLM tools for investment and finance teams.
• Oversee data governance, information security, application support, vendor relationships and the technology budget.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience in data engineering, platform delivery or BI within private equity, real estate or financial services.
• Proven track record delivering modern cloud data platforms end‑to‑end (Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Databricks or Snowflake).
• Experience managing external partners and vendors.
• Fluent English; German or Dutch is a plus.
