Head of Global Quality – Semiconductor Industry

About the role

The company, a leading international semiconductor manufacturer, seeks a visionary Head of Global Quality to define and execute a global quality strategy across product development, manufacturing, laboratories, suppliers and customers. This senior position influences business performance, customer satisfaction and operational excellence in a highly innovative environment serving automotive and industrial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define, deploy and continuously evolve the global quality vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Align quality objectives with business priorities and growth targets.
• Lead quality transformation initiatives across international sites and act as advisor to executive management.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and customer‑specific standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality management systems, governance processes and certification programs.
• Oversee product, customer and supplier quality throughout the product lifecycle, managing risk, preventive actions and corrective‑action programs.
• Develop and mentor global quality teams, laboratory functions and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Deploy Lean, Six Sigma and other best‑practice methodologies to achieve operational excellence.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related high‑tech industry.
• Deep knowledge of automotive quality standards and global quality management systems.
• Proven track record of driving cultural change, continuous improvement and large‑scale transformation.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on operational impact.
