Head of Global Quality - Semiconductor Industry

About the role

The Head of Global Quality will lead the company’s quality strategy across the entire supply chain and product life‑cycle in the semiconductor industry. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures compliance with international standards, drives continuous improvement, and supports the CEO on strategic quality matters.

Key responsibilities

• Define, deploy and monitor the global quality policy and strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee the Management System, conduct audits, and implement improvements to maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 17025 and other market standards.
• Lead the Product Quality Assurance team, manage quality labs, and ensure appropriate staffing and structure.
• Drive quality performance across supply chain, operations and development, ensuring customer satisfaction and competitiveness.
• Participate in the extended staff and Projects Validation Committee, providing quality expertise for project decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all products and manage risk throughout the product lifecycle.
• Travel as required to key sites such as Prague and Bangkok.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within the semiconductor industry.
• Engineering degree in Electronics or Microelectronics.
• Proven track record of leading global quality teams and driving organizational change.
• Strong project‑management and change‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 expertise.
• Automotive core tools: FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP.
• Audit techniques: ISO 19011, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5.
• 8D problem‑solving and risk‑management methods.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean methodology.
• Project management skills.
