Head of Group Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Group Insurance to lead Richemont’s non‑life insurance portfolio. Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, shaping risk financing while ensuring protection of people, assets and balance sheets across our luxury maisons.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group’s non‑life insurance and risk strategy in line with business priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide commercial insurance advice that supports strategic initiatives and operational resilience.
• Design, place and govern insurance programmes, including captive strategy, broker and insurer relationships, and claims oversight.
• Drive innovation by leveraging data, automation and AI to improve processes and reduce total cost of risk.
• Provide strategic insights to the Treasury Leadership Team on emerging risks and market developments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in non‑life insurance, risk management and insurance programme design.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams in a global environment.
