Head of HR Switzerland & Global Corporate Functions

About the role

Landis+Gyr is seeking a dynamic Head of HR for Switzerland and Global Corporate Functions to lead the HR agenda from its headquarters in Cham, near Zurich. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with executive teams worldwide and act as the primary HR business partner for the Swiss executive management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full HR lifecycle for Switzerland and selected European countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, United Kingdom), including recruitment, compensation, benefits, talent management, employee engagement and occupational health & safety.
• Ensure compliance with federal, cantonal and local employment legislation and continuously improve HR policies.
• Coach and support managers on strategic and operational HR matters, driving culture, motivation and change initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the European HR team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
• Represent the Swiss headquarters with external stakeholders such as industry associations, labor unions and government bodies.
• Manage site health and safety, IMS/QEHS and InfoSec activities linked to ISO certification.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (Bachelor’s) in Business Management, Human Resources or equivalent; HR Fachfrau/-mann with Swiss federal certification; Master’s in HR is a plus.
• Several years of senior HR leadership experience in a complex, matrixed, multinational environment.
• Proven ability to navigate regulatory landscapes across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Strong consultative approach with excellent communication and influencing skills.
