About the role
The Head of Sales leads the wholesale strategy and overall sales performance across multiple markets. This senior role drives vehicle sales to dealers, ensures network profitability, and oversees used‑car strategy, residual values, and remarketing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver wholesale volume targets aligned with regional objectives.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility.
- Monitor dealer stock levels, optimise inventory health and drive revenue achievement.
- Lead dealer network management, maintaining relationships with dealer principals and groups.
- Oversee dealer performance through KPIs such as sales volume, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage remarketing of buy‑back vehicles, certified pre‑owned programs and residual‑value optimisation.
- Develop and execute remarketing channels including dealer networks, auctions and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with production, supply chain and finance to align wholesale planning with capacity.
- Support dealers in retail sell‑out through campaigns, incentives and marketing initiatives.
- Lead, coach and develop regional sales managers and dealer performance teams.
