Head of Wealth Planning (Private Banking)

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to build and launch a Wealth Planning department within our private bank. The role will shape the strategy, develop a comprehensive offering for the Swiss market, and drive high‑value advisory services for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a structured Wealth Planning platform covering pension planning, tax structuring, insurance, and wealth structuring.
• Advise relationship managers and senior clients on complex situations, including entrepreneurship, family structures, and succession planning.
• Act as a senior advisor in client acquisition, participate in strategic meetings, and directly contribute to revenue generation.
• Develop external partnerships with pension, insurance, and structuring providers to expand capabilities.
• Collaborate with investment, legal, and product teams, promote a structured approach across the organization, and deliver internal training and thought leadership.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in wealth planning or structuring within private banking.
• Deep knowledge of Swiss taxation, pension systems (BVG/LPP, 3a/3b), and succession planning.
• Proven track record of building a wealth‑planning offering or platform.
• Experience advising HNW/UHNW clients and entrepreneurs.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
