HR Business Partner / HR Director for Core Business Unit

About the role

This fully remote position supports a globally distributed, remote‑first organization building digital products that connect people across cultures. As an HR Business Partner or HR Director for a core business unit, you will align people strategies with business objectives, oversee the employee lifecycle, and use data‑driven insights to optimise staffing and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive HR effectiveness by aligning workforce management, employee development and engagement with business priorities.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing levels, recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, performance management and off‑boarding.
• Implement and maintain HR policies, ensure compliance, and monitor key HR metrics such as payroll budgets, turnover and engagement.
• Partner with business leaders to address organisational challenges, support achievement of financial targets and improve overall effectiveness.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director in an international digital, IT or product‑driven company.
• Proven track record of managing the full employee lifecycle and delivering measurable improvements in engagement, retention and workforce efficiency.
• Strong analytical, project‑management and business‑acumen skills, with the ability to translate HR initiatives into organisational outcomes.
• Fluency in both Russian and English.
