HR Business Partner - Service Business Unit, Europe

About the role

As HUB HR Business Partner, you will drive the strategy and growth of the Service Business Unit at regional level in Europe. You report directly to the Hub Manager of Service Business, with a dotted-line link to the Global BU HRBP, and sit on the regional Service BU leadership team. You partner with the HUB Management Team and Local Service Unit Leaders to guide them in implementing people strategies, coaching and developing business leaders so the organization has the right capabilities, talent and workforce readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Set and implement the people strategy for the Hub Service Business Unit in line with the global Service BU and Hitachi Energy HR strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders
• Strengthen the employee value proposition and employer brand, and drive initiatives that attract, engage and retain top talent
• Lead workforce planning using people analytics, and identify and develop the people, leadership and organizational capabilities needed
• Drive organizational design and development, working with the Global HRBP to optimize structures and build sustainable capabilities
• Deliver HR solutions through partnership with HRBPs, Centers of Expertise and HR Operations, and provide strategic HR consulting
• Implement talent strategies covering succession pipelines, leadership development, talent acquisition, engagement, diversity and inclusion and retention
• Support change initiatives, advising leaders on change management approaches and driving adoption
• Develop functional competencies, career pathways and succession planning
• Improve core HR processes such as workforce planning, performance management, compensation and HR technology adoption, and ensure data quality
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, corporate HR policies and internal governance, and promote safety, compliance, integrity and wellbeing with HSE and sustainability teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Significant HR leadership experience at regional level in a complex, global, matrix organization
• Experience in the energy sector or an OEM environment with a strong service business and installed base management focus
• Demonstrated success in organizational development, talent management and change leadership
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
