HR Generalist – EMEA (Zurich)

About the role

Snowflake is looking for a results‑oriented People Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across the EMEA region. Based in Zurich with some in‑office attendance required, you will partner with the EMEA People Partner team, Centres of Excellence and business stakeholders to guide employees and managers through the full employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and first‑line managers on HR policies, processes and day‑to‑day people matters.
• Manage employee relations issues, including performance concerns, investigations and workplace matters, escalating when necessary.
• Coach managers on performance management, employee relations and team effectiveness.
• Provide accurate HR operational support across onboarding, off‑boarding, leave of absence and other lifecycle events.
• Collaborate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of leave, terminations and allowances.
• Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and internal policies across multiple EMEA countries.
• Partner with People Partners, COEs and regional teams to deliver consistent People programs and drive adoption of initiatives.
• Contribute to regional and global People projects with a practical, scalable perspective.

Required profile

• Experience working in fast‑paced, dynamic environments with a matrix, multicultural setting.
• Proven ability to coach and develop first‑line leaders.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Understanding of the technology sector is highly desirable.
