Incident Response Consultant

About the role

Beazley Security, a global cybersecurity firm and subsidiary of Beazley Insurance, is hiring an Incident Response Consultant. You will help clients respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents while giving them proactive guidance to strengthen their security posture. The role is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for clients, identifying, containing and mitigating security incidents promptly.
• Maintain clear, frequent communication with clients and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement.
• Prepare detailed incident reports with findings, recommendations and remediation strategies for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with threat intelligence and trends to advise clients timely.
• Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to improve incident response processes.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in incident response, digital forensics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks and cybersecurity concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with evolving threats.
• Certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH or CISSP are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure (AWS, G-Suite, O365, Azure).
• Network infrastructure, communication protocols and log analysis.
• Endpoint detection and response tools (Sentinel One, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, Cisco AMP).
• Forensic tools (Axiom, FTK, Volatility, X-Ways).
• SIEM, EDR, IDS and DLP technologies, and memory/volatile data analysis.
• Command-line tooling (grep, Python, PowerShell).
