Industrial Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive industrialisation projects in the medical‑technology field, guiding initiatives from concept through to series production. The role includes providing second‑level production support and contributing to the continuous development of systems, processes, and products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement industrialisation projects for medical devices, covering the full product lifecycle.
• Provide 2nd‑level production support and advance system, process, and product development.
• Own defined manufacturing processes such as cleaning, assembly, and labeling.
• Create technical documentation, including 3D designs, specifications, and validation documents.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and assembly partners.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and progress monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and support qualification and validation activities.
• Offer technical assistance to suppliers and development partners.

Required profile

• Vocational apprenticeship with an advanced HF/FH degree in mechanical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, process or systems engineering.
• Several years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or automotive.
• Proven background in industrialisation, automation, qualification/validation, and production‑related process optimisation.
• Strong analytical mindset, hands‑on attitude, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent German and English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
