International Medical Affairs Head, CRM

About the role

The Head of International Medical Affairs (IMA) for Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolic (CRM) leads the global medical affairs strategy for priority brands, supporting pre‑launch preparation, new product launches and life‑cycle management across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific leadership for CRM portfolio assets and pipeline post‑TDP.
• Design and execute innovative launch‑readiness solutions, including MSL/field medical strategy, medical education programs, scientific congress participation and expert network development.
• Coordinate integrated evidence plans, messaging and strategy across regions and priority countries to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Value & Access, Commercial Launch Strategy and International Medical Affairs to shape pre‑launch and launch activities.
• Contribute to evidence generation, scientific publication planning and medical expert engagement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably in cardiovascular, renal or metabolic therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record of leading global or multi‑regional medical affairs teams and managing product launches.
• Strong understanding of life‑cycle management, evidence generation and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent communication skills to align stakeholders across regions, functions and external experts.
