Investment Banking Coverage Vice President

About the role

As an Investment Banking Vice President in Zurich you will help drive M&A execution and capital raising, building Deutsche Bank's reputation in the Swiss market through seamless corporate finance transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of client businesses to tailor solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships, offering the full suite of product offerings.
• Prepare and present presentations to clients.
• Lead complex financial and valuation analyses and mentor junior bankers.
• Collaborate with senior bankers to originate, structure and execute transactions.
• Take project leadership in origination and execution of live transactions.

Required profile

• University degree (BSc or MSc) in Banking, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance/M&A.
• Strong communication, client‑relationship building and project leadership skills.
• High maturity, integrity, teamwork and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Fluent in English and German.

Required skills

• Strong numerical, analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Extensive experience in M&A transaction execution.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
