Investment Consultant

About the role

Schroders is seeking an Investment Consultant to join its Geneva team. The role involves delivering expert investment advice across all asset classes to private‑client and institutional investors in Switzerland, Europe and the Middle East. You will work closely with Relationship Managers to shape investment solutions that meet client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect investment advice on equities, fixed income, multi‑asset, alternatives and funds.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, develop investment proposals and generate ideas for client meetings.
• Prepare presentations and analytical documents using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Support Relationship Managers in pitches and discretionary investment management mandates.
• Oversee advisory mandates proactively and ensure compliance with client objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment consulting or wealth management.
• Higher finance education; professional qualifications such as CFA, AZEK or CAIA are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using Power BI for data visualisation.
• Familiarity with Reuters, Datastream and AI‑driven investment tools.
