IT Developer / Consultant for TiSSTAT Platform

About the role

The individual contractor will support the strategic evolution of the TiSSTAT platform, delivering documentation migration, UI/UX redesign, and multi‑country deployment under the supervision of the project officer – SDD. The work is home‑based and runs from 6 July 2026 to 22 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Convert existing MS Word user manuals and installation guides to ASCIIdoc with a modular, multilingual structure.
• Design and implement a button‑generation tool that pulls translations from Tolgee and uses a predefined library for visual consistency.
• Redesign the questionnaire and software interface for versions 1.6 and 2.0, ensuring backward compatibility and updated UI documentation.
• Deploy and implement TiSSTAT in Bhutan, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Papua New Guinea, with adjustments as the project progresses.
• Monitor and resolve full‑stack bugs, apply security patches, update dependencies, and maintain technical documentation for version 1.6.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master) in IT software engineering, with a specialization in mathematics or statistics.
• At least 7 years of proven full‑stack development experience using Angular and Spring Boot (Java).
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with MS SQL Server in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ASCIIdoc for documentation and Tolgee (or similar) for translation management.
• Demonstrated ability to redesign UI/UX based on user feedback and to support multi‑version software deployments.
