IT Project Manager & D365 Functional Consultant

About the role

SAG Group, a Swiss automotive parts supplier with distribution networks across Europe, is looking for an IT Project Manager and D365 Functional Consultant based in Dietlikon or Rotkreuz. The role combines project control of D365 F&O and F&SCM implementations with hands-on IT business consulting, including requirement gathering, functional specifications, configuration and testing.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for local and international D365 F&O and F&SCM projects, including strategic planning, monitoring, go-live coordination and hypercare support
• Act as central contact for business, key users, management and external Microsoft implementation partners
• Lead requirements workshops and fit-gap analyses to map business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report to Microsoft standards
• Promote a "standard first" approach to minimise customisations and keep the platform updatable
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams of solution architects, consultants, developers and business analysts
• Control the integration of D365 F&SCM with peripheral systems, the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure data architectures

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an IT project manager in an ERP environment, ideally with full-lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / F&SCM implementations
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT technology or a comparable qualification
• Fluent English and very good written and spoken German
• Willingness to travel internationally on project demand

Required skills

• In-depth understanding of D365 architecture and business processes in finance, supply chain or logistics
• Excellent project management skills; PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum certification is a strong advantage
• Hands-on approach to requirements, configuration and testing alongside project management
