IT Support – Hardware Refresh Support Worker

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support professional to join a Zurich‑based insurance client for a four‑month hardware refresh project. You will work on‑site at the company’s headquarters, ensuring a smooth transition to new Windows laptops for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare new Windows laptops for deployment as part of the hardware refresh programme.
• Support users during device handover and ensure a seamless switch to the new equipment.
• Configure Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and file shares.
• Manage incoming and returned devices, track assets and perform basic administration.
• Provide day‑to‑day IT support to end users on‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer‑facing IT support, desktop support or service‑desk roles.
• Good working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint and identity management.
• Ability to work on‑site every day for the duration of the project.
• German language proficiency.
