IT Support Specialist

About the role

Join Solvias, a global provider of chemistry, manufacturing and control analytics, as an IT Support Specialist. You will be part of a collaborative team that ensures smooth IT operations for internal users across the company’s Swiss headquarters and global sites.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the internal IT hotline, receive, forward and resolve user inquiries.
• Set up and deliver hardware such as desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Distribute software using Microsoft SCCM.
• Administer Active Directory for computers, users and authorisations.
• Process employee mutations (entries, exits, transfers).
• Conduct IT trainings for staff.
• Provide first‑level support for the Avaya telephone system.
• Manage IT inventory, hardware assets and software licences.
• Maintain video and audio systems in meeting rooms.

Required profile

• Computer science education or equivalent experience in an IT support environment.
• Service‑oriented, communicative personality with a strong customer focus.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Experience in a validated (GxP) laboratory environment is a plus.
