IT Support Technician (Level 1) – Zurich

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician who can start immediately, work autonomously and provide solid IT support in a demanding environment in Zurich.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users and resolve IT incidents.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and peripherals.
• Support Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and other business applications.
• Manage user accounts, access rights and authentication issues.
• Document interventions in the ticketing system and escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in L1 IT support.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft/Windows/Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proven experience in a demanding or critical professional environment.
• Strong autonomy, accuracy, service orientation and troubleshooting skills.
• IT certifications (ideally Microsoft) are an advantage.
• English C1 minimum – mandatory.
• German C1 minimum – mandatory.
• No management responsibilities required.
