IT System Administrator / Engineer (80-100%)

About the role

nanoTRONIC AG is seeking an IT System Administrator / Engineer to maintain and evolve its network infrastructure across multiple sites. You will work in interdisciplinary project teams supporting highly regulated industries such as space, medical technology, and railways.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the company’s network infrastructure.
• Plan, evaluate, and implement IT services at all locations.
• Document and initiate further developments of the IT infrastructure.
• Monitor services, handle incidents, and perform regular maintenance.
• Provide 2nd/3rd‑level support and assist 1st‑level support staff.

Required profile

• Computer science EFZ or comparable degree (BSc/MSc FH/TU/ETH).
• Several years of professional experience in IT.
• Strong analytical skills, quick comprehension, and a self‑dependent, project‑oriented work style.
• Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of network technologies and cyber security.
• Good working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with virtualization tools such as QEMU and LXC.
• Familiarity with Windows Server (advantage).
