Junior Data Analyst – Equine Digital Passport Project

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join the Equine Digital Passport project within the FEI Technology Operations Department. Based in Lausanne, you will turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that support horse welfare and transparency worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and structure data from internal and external sources.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualisations to inform business decisions.
• Safeguard data quality and consistency across systems.
• Work with DevOps tooling such as Git, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support the publication and management of Open Data datasets.
• Run ad‑hoc analyses for team members and stakeholders.
• Document data processes and methodologies.
• Partner with technical and business colleagues to understand data needs.
• Help run and facilitate stakeholder workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent).
• Up to 3 years of experience in data analysis (internship or first role).
• Service‑minded, detail‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑moving environment.
• Interest in equestrian sport is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a bonus.
• Eligibility: Swiss nationals, Swiss residents with a valid work permit, or EU citizens.
