Junior Frontend Developer (Remote/Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who will turn product ideas into a polished, user‑friendly interface. You will focus on the look and feel of our real‑estate platform, ensuring every interaction feels smooth and intuitive.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable React code that implements designs.
• Craft detailed animations, interactions, and edge‑case handling to elevate the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver functional features.
• Gain exposure to the full stack, from React on the frontend to Kotlin/Ktor on the backend.
• Experiment with new libraries, patterns, and tools to keep the product moving fast.

Required profile

• Strong eye for visual details – you notice spacing issues, off‑beat animations, and imperfect button behavior.
• Ability to ship a feature quickly and refactor it when a better solution emerges.
• Curiosity about the backend while primarily focusing on frontend development.
• Comfort working in ambiguous situations and turning constraints into creative solutions.

Required skills

• Solid experience with React (hooks, modern patterns, state management).
• Proficiency in TypeScript or a willingness to become proficient rapidly.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling such as Vite, modern CSS, and component libraries.
• Interest in Kotlin/Ktor for future backend growth.
• Strong communication skills in English; Swiss‑German/German is a plus.
